The Small Things Matter
Jason took me to this new sushi restaurant downtown last weekend and at the end of our meal, the waiter placed down for us these lovely chocolates (specially made for the restaurant). We sat at the sushi bar which is made of this beautiful wood. Jen, can you tell me what these characters mean?

those chocolates look so dignified...and tasty! the character is pronounced "ten" and means either "sky" or "heaven" or "weather." the japanese use some chinese characters in their writing, so this is actually a chinese character. in chinese, it's pronounced "tian" and has the same meanings.
